Today marks a month since I've been back in the States... wow, it's been a blur. Jet lag was a lot of fun to get over. For a week (maybe longer), I woke at odd hours of the night and felt like there wasn't enough caffeine in the world to keep me awake for the day.

Just as the fog started to fade, we had a leader training. It was awesome! In all there were 25 people there. It also happened to be the same weekend that Aaron West, the Field Support Intern, went back to school in Indiana. We miss him a lot and can't wait to see how God works through him in the future!

So, What's Next?
Now it's three weeks later, and it's time for another leader training. This weekend people from all over the country are here to learn about Project Leading, Support Staffing, and Worship Leading for Short Term Missions. There is an Ambassador Training at the same time, so it is a large crowd! I'm excited about both trainings--one to meet the leaders for STM, 2) to see "old" leaders from Ambassadors from years past, and 3) to see two of my former participants from my Swazi Fall 2007 team! I cannot wait to see them! It's been 3 years and I am so glad for the chance to catch up on their lives.
Next week (April 13-17) I am shadowing my roommate, Christy Barnard, on a trip to TN. We're going to lead a group from a Christian school in West Virginia. We've been talking with the group leaders for several weeks now and I'm getting more and more excited about seeing God work, not only in the community we're going to, but in the hearts of these teenagers. There is nothing like a group of students who love the Lord with their whole hearts and commit to living radically for Him. I can't wait to hear their stories and to see the Lord meet them next weekend!

Please pray for me as I go! Because it's a Stateside trip and I'm going as support staff, the total cost of my trip is $50. What I need most of all is prayer. Prayer for wisdom and energy, safety in travel, and for the ability to lead through faith. While I have been on many missions trips and have led many trips with AIM, this is my first trip with the program of STM. I'm excited to experience it!

Thank you! I can't wait to tell you what God does in Tennessee!
