Hey, Friends! How are you?
These past few weeks have been a whirlwind of settling in, learning my new job and life here in Gville, and laughter. Lots of that!
I’m so excited because tomorrow I’m going to Peru! We had to change the dates to February 18-23 because of airfare. Right now I’m sitting in the office thinking of all the things I have to do before I leave tomorrow. It’s a lot! And it doesn’t feel real. It probably won’t until I’m in the airport thinking, “Oh my word-I’m going back to the Amazon!” I can’t believe God has given me the chance to return but am so thankful!
Please be praying for us a we travel–for great flights, safety, and good health.
Right now I still need more support to pay for this trip, but I can keep raising it after I return. Because of the timing of the trip, we had to move very quickly so as to get the best prices on travel.
In other news, many of you have asked if AIM is doing anything in Haiti. The answer is YES-a lot! We had people there within days of the earthquake and now have teams there (and currently are organizing many, many more). The full explanation of what AIM is doing in Haiti is too long for me to write here, so I thought I’d just direct you to some blogs with news:
A good friend at AIM was asked to design a logo for the work we’re doing in Haiti. It was printed on magnets and stuck to the side of vans that carry the teams down there. She’s a talented artist! The next thing I knew, I was pulled outside to model. So my feet are officially in Haiti –even though I’m not right now! That’s pretty cool.

That’s all for now. I just wanted to say hey, let y’all know what was going on, and ask y’all for prayer. Thank you so much for supporting me! And thank you for your response to this trip which came up all of the sudden. Have I mentioned I’m so stinkin’ excited? I LOVE what I do! I love going to the nations to share Jesus-and then telling the stories of all He does! Have a great week! I’ll write after I get back!
