The Christmas Party of the Century!

Merry Christmas, Everyone!!!

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m the new Administrative Assistant for the Ambassador program here at AIM. I’ve actually been around since 2006, but started the process of coming on staff this fall. Currently, I work part time for the program and drive up to AIM once a week. I’m so excited about moving to this area in January and being able to work here full time. It’s so awesome to see how God has literally put all of this together.

Right now my moving date is set for late January. Last week, my mom and I went apartment hunting and found several affordable apartments in convenient locations. I’m pretty excited about moving into one of them! However, I’m still short on my support goal of $1400 a month. I need about $600 more in order to meet the goal and be able to pay all the bills I will have. Will you consider partnering with me, not only in prayer, but financially as well? If you would like to contribute in my name, just click on the “Support Me” link to the left and make sure you insert my name, Kristen Torres-Toro, if prompted. I am so thankful for all of you who have committed to join me in this ministry. Thank you for your prayers, your encouragement, and an your financial support. All gifts are so appreciated because I know I cannot do this without you! This is our ministry, together. Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness.

This is my first Christmas at AIM and it was so much fun! I came up Wednesday to help decorate for the party. My dear friend, Connie Rock, was part of the dynamic duo that designed and decorated for the event. Tara Tankersley is the other half of the wonder team. These two women are incredible and so creative. It was an honor to be able to serve them.

I got to play “official photographer” for the event, which was so fun! Below are some pictures of the final preparations, the finished product, and a picture of everyone enjoying the fruits of our labor. Enjoy!

This is my favorite picture. This is the most beautiful tree I’ve ever seen.

This is one of the centerpieces. St. Francis is pointing the way to the food. :0)

Part of the room before it was finished:

Tara’s olive penguins. SO COOL!

Okay, my second favorite photo:

Another incredible centerpiece:

Part of the food table. Tara is an artist with food. Connie’s centerpiece is out of this world.

The tree with presents in front of it…

Okay, so here are all the people enjoying it!

Proof I was actually there, a picture with my wonderful friend, Connie Rock.

That’s it for this year! See y’all at next year’s party! WOOOHOOO!!! :0)

Have a great day!
