Who Wants to Go on a Mission Trip with Me?

Hey, Everyone!

I wanted to write because I have some updates on mission trips for this year since I sent out my newsletter!

But first, I have a question:

Who wants to go on a mission trip with me?

I’m leading an adult trip to Nicaragua June 4-10, 2017, and there’s still room on the trip for more people to join. I wanted to send this out and see who would want to come with me! I’ve had many people say they’d love to do a trip with me in the future. Well, how about this summer?

Ministry will be a combination of women’s ministry, VBS/sports with local kids, community outreach (going on home visits and just living our faith wherever we are), and maybe a light work project. It really depends on what the need is when we get there!

I’m so excited to lead this trip, and would LOVE for you to come! CLICK HERE or on the picture above to find out how you can!

Second, I’m no longer leading a trip to Jamaica in July. Instead, I’m co-leading a trip to Haiti!

I am SO EXCITED because this is a youth group trip that is already so big it needed two leaders. So I asked if my friend Kayla could co-lead. The cool thing about Kayla (I mean, there are many, but this is one of them) is that I met her last summer in Ecuador. I was asked by Adventures to train her as a leader on the field, so she went early with me and we did everything together. I had no idea that I’d end up making such a wonderful friend! Best surprise ever!

So now we get to be reunited, just over a year later, leading together on a trip with almost 40 teenagers. Pretty much so much awesomeness that I can’t handle it.

That’s really it for my updates. I just found out about Haiti last week, so I wanted to let y’all know as soon as I did.

Personally, I’m really excited because next month holds something really special for me. Last year I mentioned something I was praying about was going to Israel for a personal trip. I found a Bible tour I could pay for with my tax refund, found a friend to go with, and the perfect flight, which will also let me run around New York City for a few hours with another of one of my favorite people (Can’t wait to see you, Vikki Garcia!). Now, it’s February 15, and it’s all taken care of: flight booked, tax refund covered the cost, and all that is left is for the next 38 days to pass. 🙂 My trip is March 25-April 3, and I’m so, so, so, so, so excited. This is something I’ve dreamed of since I was a little girl, and now it is happening!

So thankful we serve a God who cares about our dreams as well as our needs.

That’s it; this was just a quick update on trips for 2017. Thank you all for your continued support and prayer. I am so thankful for each and every one of you. And I really hope some of y’all come with me to Nicaragua
