My living situation: My roommate moved out in September and I’ve been unable to find a new one. While I have loved my apartment of 5 years and am so thankful to have lived there, it’s time to move on.

It’s a long story, but in February I heard about a house shared by two girls at church, who need a third roommate. We hung out; I saw the house and committed to move in April 30 (next Thursday... better start packing!). I’ve been so excited. This house is closer to church and closer to work, even though it’s in the next town. But I’m most excited about moving in with these two girls. We seem to have a lot in common and I think this will be a great thing!

But as I write this, things are still up in the air. The landlord of that house (in my head I've dubbed it the "Treehouse" because it's surrounded by trees) wants to sell. So I probably will move again in a few months, that time with my two roommates. We've scoured the internet and there are no rentals in the area we need to be in. So, I’m asking y’all to pray about this, because right now none of us know what's going to happen. Thankfully, we know Who does.

Also, being that it's rained here for the past 10 days (I forgot what the sun looked like), I'd also appreciate prayer for NO RAIN on April 30 in North Georgia.

My car: Two days after Christmas, the Psychedelic Black Knight (aka my blue Corolla) made a scary noise and started protesting quite loudly. This 15-year-old car is on its last legs. It’s great for a “going 5 minutes down the road” type vehicle, but not daily driving on the windy hills of North Georgia (where nothing is 5 minutes down the road). Thankfully, my dad loaned me his car. But it is even older and has even more miles on it, meaning 2015 is the year of me getting a “new-for-me” car. I’m praying the loaner car lasts as long as possible so I can save in the meantime. And praying about the next car God has for me to drive (I’d love another blue corolla)! :)

India: I specifically asked God to allow me to return to Asha House in India this year. With not seeing the children last year and the orphanage moving across the country, returning means everything to me. In addition to leading trips, I am allowed one "personal" missions trip a year where I go as a participant. As I've worked with and loved this ministry for 9 years, I continued to pray God would allow me to go. Then I learned there will be an STM trip there this summer. Since the trip already had an awesome leader on it, I have permission to go as a participant. WOOHOO!

In order to go, I need to raise $2500 in addition to my continued monthly goal of $1250/month. This will cover flight plus ground costs.

Choir: Okay, silly, really, but I asked God to let me sing in a choir this year. I’ve missed it so much! Last month, while at Community Bible Church’s 50th anniversary celebration, two friends from the choir asked if I’d be there on Easter to sing with them. At first, I just laughed it off. Because as much as I wanted to, I knew I couldn’t be at practice. But then I started thinking, “I know the song... Why not ask?” So I asked Steve, the Music Director, and he said yes! Which basically meant Easter Sunday was magical, because not only was I celebrating Christ’s resurrection, but I was doing so while in the choir - singing the “Hallelujah Chorus!” SO GREAT! Yay for God answering "silly" dreams with a yes!

Softball: So, this hasn’t happened yet. I don’t know if it will. But like choir, I’ve come to really miss playing softball. I played for 10 years as a kid and for 2 years in intramurals in college... I miss it so much! And then I found out about an adult rec league in the county I’m moving to that is in the fall. So I’ve asked God to let me play softball this year. I’ll let you know what happens!
